The NWG, 2020 Summer Challenge for Aug 31st
NWG is announcing the great summer turning competition.
All members are invited to produce a turning of their choice over the summer to be entered into a draw in September.
As with our two past competitions, the mallet and rolling pin, it would be preferred
if participants produce pictures and descriptions of their work as they progress towards completion.
These descriptions and musings were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone as much as the work itself.
Prizes by random draw:
An interchangeable 30 cm. carbon fiber / ER25 tool handle with three collets ($70 value) provided by David McLachlan.
A $25 gift certificate to Lee Valley provided by Bill Maes.
